Public sector authorities have responsibility for significant purchasing across the Rural Action Zone Pathfinder and beyond. Small and medium sized businesses sometimes have difficulty knowing how to access recurring and one-off procurement opportunities.
The sourcederbyshire website has been developed to make it easier for businesses to find out about potential contracting opportunities and is used by a number of public sector and private sector bodies to advertise contracts.
The High Peak Boost Your Business initiative has been established to help smaller businesses find out these opportunities through Procurement and Networking events.

Boost Your Business procurement and networking events are held on a regular basis to inform local companies about accessing procurement opportunities.
The events involve a number of public sector authorities as well as private sector partners and business support organisations and provide local businesses with the opportunity to meet procurement officers, find out about where contracts are advertised and what contracts are available, listen to procurement related speakers, meet support agencies and network with other local businesses.
