Author of the books 'High Light - The Landscape Photography of Dave Butcher' and ‘Peak Light – The Peak District Photography of Dave Butcher’ his work is also widely published in books and magazines. He also undertakes commissions from clients such as hotels and interior designers.

Dave also runs photography courses in the Peak District National Park and darkroom printing courses from his base in Tunstead Milton.
