The European Union has changed the VAT requirements concerning cross-border trading, and has included new measures concerning the declaration and recording of intra-EU transactions. A new electronic VAT refund procedure will be introduced across the EU for all claims submitted after 1 January 2010 to replace the current paper-based system.
Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce is presenting a workshop session which details the updated requirements for all companies trading across EU borders, and this session is designed to enable the trader to better understand these changes while they are still being implemented. The session will outline these far-reaching changes, and will provide a means by which traders can enquire further about the implications of these changes in VAT procedures to their business.
